KTL collects personal information for the purpose of facilitating the services purchased.

We only collect personal information required to provide the service being purchased or supplied, and information volunteered by the customer.

KTL will not share personal information with third parties other than those required for the provision of services and products purchased by the customer, or as required by New Zealand law.

Third parties involved in delivering purchased services or products will use personal information supplied by KTL solely for the purpose of delivering those services or products.

KTL does not rent or sell your personal information.

KTL stores personal information supplied by customers on secure systems with monitored controlled access.

A customer may request that KTL alter, update or delete personal information by contacting KTL using the privacy contact details above.

KTL uses Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant online payment solution, for processing credit card payments. KTL does not store credit card numbers.

No data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While KTL strives to protect personal information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of information transmitted by email or customer response form.

KTL does not sell or rent personal identification information to third parties.

We release personal information only where we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce or apply our terms and conditions, or protect the rights, property or safety of Kiwiana Tours 2009 Limited, our users or others.

Passengers acknowledge and consent to KTL, by itself or through an agent, taking photographs, audio or video recordings, or other recordings that capture a passenger’s image, likeness, voice or performance during a tour.

KTL may use images for marketing and to promote its services, including in print, broadcast, internet media, direct marketing, downloadable content and other media or platforms.

A passenger may request access to or correction of their images. If images have already been incorporated into marketing materials, it may not be reasonably practicable for KTL to make changes.

It is our policy to remove a customer from a mailing list upon request.

We use email as a means of receiving feedback from customers and encourage you to email us with questions or comments.

You are responsible for actions taken with your username and password. We do not recommend disclosing your password to third parties.

If you choose to share your username, password or information with third parties, you are responsible for actions taken with that information and should review the relevant third party’s privacy policy.

KTL takes reasonable steps to keep collected personal information secure and protect it from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

We do not hold credit card information. When paying for a tour, payment details are processed securely by Stripe.

It is important to protect against unauthorised access to your password and computer by logging off after using a shared computer.

Total security of data transmission over the internet cannot be guaranteed, and KTL cannot warrant the security of information transmitted online.

Cookies are small pieces of information stored in a browser-related file on your device when you use our website. Cookies are widely used on major websites.
